The GMAT exam evaluates a test taker's verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing abilities, which they have developed over a significant period of their education and professional experience. Test takers respond to questions in each of these three areas, with the option to take two breaks during the exam. The scores obtained on the exam are valid for five years from the date of the test until the matriculation date. The highest achievable score on the GMAT exam is 800.
