The IELTS test duration is approximately 3 hours, including the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections.
The Speaking test is conducted separately and its duration varies from 10 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the candidate's speaking capability.
In the Listening section, test takers listen to a recorded text and answer 40 related questions within one hour. The Reading section requires reading three passages, with 20 minutes allowed for each passage. The Writing section consists of two parts: a 150-word task that involves describing a diagram or chart, and a 200-word task where test takers express their opinion on a given situation. The Speaking section involves speaking on a chosen topic, with the test conductor evaluating fluency and speaking skills.
